"...12 across is both offensive and wrong. Neither Webster's nor Oxford describes Hindu like that. Please use reputable dictionaries when making your crossword. Atleast check with an Indian friend before putting it in a crossword. Maybe you dont mingle with Indians. That makes the clue racist too. ..."

"...Actually, I got it from the dictionary. You don't have to like or agree with what I put, I do not care. If you want to think I'm racist so be it, you do not know me and it's just a puzzle so relax. Just don't do my puzzles. God Bless!..."

"...Easy, but in that context it's GRAYS; I don't care for answers that are part of the actual clue, either (haircut, intro, cabby)..."

commented vikingrae on 07 February 2009 at 01:38 PM GMT

"...Not bad. Could have been even better without the answers as part of the clues, as mentioned above, considered bad practice in crossword puzzling. Boundary is misspelled (the A after the D is missing). But the TV show IS GrEy's Anatomy (vikingrae got it wrong). Don't worry about the Hindu clue. I fear that Indians are quite ticklish about things like that. There are so many castes etc... Treating someone as a racist when we don't know who belongs where in that part of the world is ridiculous...."

"...16 d (Haircut), weak. 12 a (Hindu), I have no problem with it...."
